Most grants and programs are usually for Germany. So why are there so many grants in Germany?
First, Germans have a strong focus on finding and motivating active and aspiring students around the world. Second, almost all education is free. Third, they aim to ensure the spread of the German language around the world through financial incentives for students and to use talented students in companies with convenient infrastructure. One such program is the popular and convenient DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst or German Academic Exchange Service) program. Each year, more than 100,000 students around the world receive DAAD scholarships in many fields.
Today, the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics also hosted a face-to-face meeting with DAAD lecturer Anton Umbach. It was attended by first- and second-year students and interested people in the joint program of the branch with the University of Applied Sciences in Weinstein-Triezdorf in the field of Economics (food systems management). Anton Umbach made a presentation on the German academic exchange program. At the end of the meeting, students received answers to their questions. The meeting was free and cordial.
