The academic summer school successfully completed its activities.
This summer school was organized in collaboration with the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The main focus of the summer school was to develop academic writing and research skills. It attracted young researchers and PhD candidates conducting studies in the fields of economics, social sciences, sustainable agriculture, tourism, entrepreneurship, and spatial economics.
The five-day program featured interactive lectures, practical workshops, and discussions led by international and local scholars. Renowned professors from Uzbekistan, the USA, India, Portugal, and other countries delivered lectures, sharing deep knowledge and experience on important topics such as sustainable development, regional economics, tourism strategies, writing for international scientific publications, and research methodology. Notably, Prof. Tomas Dentinho (Portugal) conducted engaging sessions on generalized Q-analysis and regional sciences. Dr. Farhod Ahrorov (Uzbekistan) presented a lecture on the economics of sustainable agriculture. Additionally, Prof. Abdul Shaban (India) shared both theoretical and practical insights into research methodology.
As part of the summer school, a cultural trip to Samarkand’s historical monuments was organized for the participants. At the end of the program, all participants received official certificates.
This summer school became an important step in enhancing academic potential, expanding international scientific cooperation, and encouraging young researchers to pursue academic activities. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere, meaningful presentations, and active participation, the summer school successfully achieved its goals.
