In accordance with paragraph 9 of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-200 dated July 4, 2023, and in order to ensure the effective organization of international and national scientific events aimed at expanding international scientific and technical cooperation, as well as to implement Order No. 11 dated January 16, 2026, of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, a Republican scientific-practical conference on the topic:
“Trends in the implementation of international financial reporting standards in Uzbekistan”
will be held on May 22–23, 2026, at the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics.
Conference venue: Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics, Samarkand region, Samarkand city, 51 Professors Street.
Conference language: Uzbek.
Main scientific directions of the conference:
Issues of applying international standards principles in organizing financial accounting and preparing reports
Methodological issues of improving the financial accounting system
Practical aspects of applying international financial reporting standards
National accounting standards
Dual education and research methodologies in teaching accounting, economic analysis, and auditing
Participants may include representatives of ministries and agencies, research institutes, professors, researchers, practitioners, and students. The conference will be held in offline format. At the end of the conference, a collection of scientific articles and abstracts will be published and distributed electronically. Conference materials will be published as a special issue of the scientific journal “Economics, Finance and Innovations” and indexed in Google Scholar.
Requirements for papers and abstracts:
Title of the article;
Author’s full name, affiliation, position, email;
Abstract (100–120 words), keywords (5–7 words);
A4 format, margins: top/bottom 2 cm, right 3 cm, left 1.5 cm;
Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, size 14, spacing 1.15, 4–7 pages;
Full references with numbering [1], [2], [3];
IMRAD structure is recommended;
Anti-plagiarism check (at least 75% originality).
Submissions not meeting the requirements will not be accepted.

On April 14, 2026, at 16:30, an open lesson will be held in Room 310 (Building A) for first-year students of the “Economics” program (group IQT-425).
