With the aim of protecting the environment, promoting ecological awareness, and contributing to the preservation of nature, eco-active students of the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics carried out a new eco-initiative.

In particular, a plogging campaign (collecting litter while jogging) was organized under the slogan “Zero Waste Nature.” The students not only promoted a healthy lifestyle in the lap of nature, but also made a direct contribution to environmental cleanliness.

During the campaign, 62 kilograms of various types of waste were collected and handed over to special waste collection vehicles. The event served to strengthen students’ environmental awareness and to foster a sense of responsibility toward nature in society.

As part of this eco-initiative, regular plogging events are planned to be continued.
