On June 25, 2025, a roundtable discussion titled “Preventing Crimes in the Field of Information Technology” was held at the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics.

The event was attended by:

• Senior lecturer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy, Lieutenant Colonel B.F. Akhmedov,

• Head of the Department of the Investigation Office of Samarkand Region’s Department of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel A. Boltayev,

• University students.

The event was held in an interactive format — students received detailed and well-founded answers to their questions.

Such meetings play an important role in enhancing young people's digital literacy and developing conscious resistance to information threats.
