A scholarship has been announced for participation in a summer school in Latvia.
The Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced that scholarships are available for participation in summer schools organized by Latvian higher education institutions. University students and researchers are eligible to participate in the summer school.
The summer school will cover the following areas:
- Latvian Parliamentarism – This program highlights Latvia’s complex path to becoming an independent democratic state and emphasizes its role as part of the European political and cultural space. (Duration: June 25, 2025 – July 4, 2025)
- Latvian National Traditions – This summer school focuses on Latvian traditions, covering both historical and contemporary practices. (Duration: June 26, 2025 – July 5, 2025)
- Latvia's Cultural Canon – This program consists of two parts: learning the Latvian language and studying Latvian canon law. It teaches the Latvian language at an A1 level. (Duration: July 5, 2025 – July 14, 2025)
- Urban Drone Dynamics – Covers skills in safe and efficient delivery, location identification, and proper drone control. (Duration: July 28, 2025 – August 8, 2025)
- Green Farming Skills in Latvian Agriculture – This program introduces participants to Latvia’s traditional agricultural methods with a focus on sustainable and eco-friendly farming. (Duration: August 3, 2025 – August 12, 2025)

The scholarship amount is 1,000 euros per participant. Travel expenses are covered by the participants themselves.
