The Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics has officially announced the results of the interview-based admission process for the Independent Researcher program, a key pathway for scholars preparing to conduct independent PhD dissertation research.

During the interviews, applicants were assessed on their readiness for academic research, depth of subject knowledge, understanding of research methodology, analytical thinking skills, and clarity of their long-term research plans. Special attention was given to each candidate’s scientific potential, motivation, and originality in their proposed research approach.

The Independent Researcher track provides scholars with the opportunity to conduct their PhD research using the university’s academic resources, scientific supervision, and modern research infrastructure.
