At the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics, a competition was organized under the slogan "A reading mother, a reading child" in collaboration with the Women’s Advisory Council and the primary organization of the Youth Union.

In this competition, female students discussed the works "Ikki eshik orasi" and "O'tkan kunlar" , described the books, discussed the main objectives of the works, and answered several questions. These works are considered true Uzbek masterpieces, and they also touch upon history. The characters and events in the works evoke unique emotions in every reader.

As a result of the competition, the winners were female students of the group "Finance and Financial Technologies-224", Do’stmatova Maftuna and Doniyorova Mukhisa.
