Muhammadiyah Jember University (Unmuh Jember) Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) started a series of international events on the theme “Harmony in Pandalungan: A Collaboration of Diversity” on February 4th with an exotic trip to Mount Bromo.
The event involved delegations from Tashkent State University of Economics, Samarkand branch (Uzbekistan), ISFT Institute, Samarkand campus (Uzbekistan), and Pangasinan State University (Philippines), as well as faculty members and students from Unmuh Jember FEB.
The trip included three teachers and four students from Uzbekistan, two teachers and three students from the Philippines, as well as eight teachers and two academic staff members from Unmuh Jember.
The journey began with a climb to the summit of Bromo to watch the sunrise, which became one of the unforgettable moments for the participants.
The next destination was “Whispering Sands” (Pasir Berbisik), a unique place where the sand produces a whispering sound when the wind blows. Participants had the opportunity to take photos in this scenic spot and exchange cultural experiences.
