This program was established by the Government of India as a bilateral assistance program by the Cabinet decision on September 15, 1964. The duration of the program can range from 1 week to 3 months. All expenses (visa fees, round-trip airfare, accommodation, meals, travel, and daily allowances) are covered by the program. A good command of English is required. No certificate is needed. Applications can be submitted year-round.
